Order Information
Always the vast majority of tiles are available for sale, sold items are promptly removed but some may be reserved. Please send an email to ensure the tile(s) of interest are still available, be sure to include the ref number. Click here to use your email application or send your enquiry to info@tile-heaven.co.uk. (If you use a Yahoo, AOL or other large or 'free' email account click here)
Upon receipt of your confirmation of order the tile(s) will then be reserved for you for up to ten days to allow for payment to reach us.
We will send a Paypal payment request or create a special web page for customers who wish to pay by credit card.
When paying by other means please notify us by email when your payment is sent.
We will let you know when payment is received and tile(s) dispatched.

Credit cards, eChecks - accepted through our online payment processors PayPal. Items paid for via PayPal can be sent to confirmed addresses only and full insurance is required.
UK customers can easily pay in to our bank account by internet or telephone banking or at a bank branch, it is cheap and fast hence the discount,
* International bank transfer fees have up to four constituents:
- Sending fee
- Currency exchange fee
- Receiving international fee
- Receiving pay in to account fee
Senders of international bank transfers must agree to pay all the fees when they initiate the transaction. This only includes the first three items and doesn't include the paying in to our account fee which is treated as a regular entry on our bank charges rather than an international transaction. The 3% discounted price only applies to international transfers when these conditions are met. Fees (and convenience) vary widely but the larger the sum the more economical this method is.
** As local bank branches have closed it is not practical to make special journeys to the bank for individual cheques, often we will post cheques to the bank ourselves.
Important Notice about US Dollar Prices
Prices are Pounds Sterling, US Dollar prices shown in brackets are indicative only and show an approximate conversion at the time the page was posted or updated. Use the currency converter link to get up to date prices in dollars or your local currency.
When we invoice via PayPal we invoice in pounds and PayPal convert to dollars etc at the time that payment is made, this means that we neither gain nor lose from currency variations in the meantime.

Just complete a regular form with credit card and address with our card processors PayPal or pay with your PayPal account if you have one. You don't have to create an account with either us or them to buy just like at a regular store.
If more than one item is purchased we will adjust postage accordingly and refund if necessary or send us an email with your list of tiles.

Shipping Information
Up to three typical 6" x 6" tiles per package can go by airmail , we also usually ship larger orders internationally by airmail at three tiles per package, any cost difference is negligible (it is often cheaper) except for larger quantities and the service is faster.
Tiles can be collected from Ironbridge by arrangement.

The maximum weight by letter post/airmail is 2Kg (4.4lbs) which equates to three typical 6" x 6" tiles and packaging. * A few tiles are considerably heavier than standard tiles, usually arts & crafts, hearth quality, red/brown clay and encaustic, shipping cost of such may be no more than an extra £1 per tile UK, £2 worldwide. 8" x 8" tiles are usually also thicker so shipping may be as much as two 6' x 6" tiles Postage prices can be seen at Royal Mail, first tile + packaging weighs about 600g, subsequent tiles + packaging about 500g each. For packaging materials etc costs the charge is about £2 ($4) per packet/parcel, this is included in all above prices. Larger quantitiesWe can send up to 10Kg in the UK by special delivery and it is reasonably economical, £23 for as many as eighteen 6" x 6" tiles.
Internationally parcel delivery is expensive and for all but the largest quantities airmail is most economical, also larger parcels can not be sent from locally to us so we have to travel in to town with the associated expenses. We usually ship by airmail three tiles per package as it is usually cheaper and the service is faster. We also feel the postal service is more reliable than the parcel service, if only because larger more valuable packages are more likely to 'disappear' or be dropped.
PackagingWe pack our tiles very well so that a happy customer is the result.
Our tiles are also easy to unpack! We do not use adhesive tapes on tiles, we use a special industrial packing film for packaging our tiles (like cling film/Saren wrap), it is stretchy and so can be pulled away easily and torn or snipped with scissors. Tiles are individually wrapped in soft packing foam and then collectively in bubble wrap (larger quanitites may be double boxed with polystyrene cushioning material). We always use clean packaging materials, we almost always use new materials but we will re-use material where it is clean and appropriate.
To unpack your tile(s) open the padded bag or box, pull the film away from the bubble wrap, tear, snip with scissors or slice with a blade. The tile(s) have a further protective covering of polyethylene foam sheeting, again held on by stretchy cling film. Again pull the film away and remove as before, bubble wrap and foam can be folded up for re-use.
To be that little extra safe unwrap your tile package above a soft surface, best sit on a sofa or bed, our tiles are clean so you will not mark your furnishings. Don't hold the tile above a tiled or other hard floor when unwrapping as then a slip could have disastrous results.
Our packaging gets almost as many compliments as our tiles!
Yahoo, AOL and other large or 'free' email accounts
If you use Yahoo, AOL or one of the many free or large email services you may find messages from us wrongly rejected or put in your 'bulk', 'spam' or 'junk' folder. In particular Yahoo! are notorious for rejecting legitimate messages which is ironic as many junk emails originate from Yahoo. Add tile-heaven addresses to your whitelist or address book and they should be received properly, we will never send advertising emails or sell your address or information to anyone and use the most secure computer and email systems.
To further add to the mess created by junk mail (itself mostly thanks to Microsoft Windows insecurity) other email suppliers, for example BTinternet, subcontract email service to Yahoo.
Free email services are free in money terms but they make profits for the supplier. How do they do this? Did you read and understand the terms and conditions?* A proper email account costs just a pound or two per month.
*Many email suppliers scan their customers' messages for information which they then sell. Some they sell for advertising, they call it targetted advertising, you are the target. So for example if you search for "ford car" you may find more adverts from Toyota or whoever bought that word or phrase.
