The design has elements of classical, art
nouveau and arts & crafts yet is not diluted
by such a variety of influences for it stands on
its own as an interesting design. The moulding
is all impressed so when glazed gives a near
flat surface perfect for cleaning and avoidance
of wear. Only three colours of glaze the brown -
yellow on the flower produced by the depth of
moulding and colour strength of glaze.
