A couple of insignificant marks (the mark on the
bottom edge is a printing flaw). Style: 'Arts & Crafts movement
style' This is a great design, quite simple in a
gothic manner I think Pugin may even have
approved, printed in a warm brown on light buff
clay. Made by Maw & Co, in my opinion the
best tile makers ever, and I suspect designed by
Lewis Day. Day known to have designed for Maw
and this very similar to some designs of his
published in Architect magazine. Verso perfectly clean embossed Maw & Co,
Broseley etc and Floreat Salopia badge.
