A full and flowing art nouveau design that fills the tile, in good greens the flowerhead accentuated by the higher outline and indented moulding. Another gem from George Marsden, rarely an ordinary tile from his company.

Verso plain bars and unmarked - I have marked and identified examples of this pattern in my personal collection.

Chips on the least important bottom edge near the corners, and one in the middle, tiny chip an inch from the bottom on the right side and both top corners. One very short scratch and other minor surface marks, a few tiny specks of kiln dirty in the glaze. Very clean with good brilliance.

The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
