One of the nicest Wedgwood transfer patterns with a characteristic aesthetic layout the background in filigree style and in a most wonderful shade of blue which has a wide range of intensities due to the super quality of the print. A super quality blue and white Wedgwood tile and one of the prettiest, an outstanding example of their wares.

One very small glaze chip on the top edge, extremely slight surface marks, two tiny glaze blows in the making. A very clean and bright tile.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
