Two flakes of enamel have lifted from the central of the main flower but they kind of blend in, another very small flake from the top flower, very light surface marks almost all very close to the edges. Four tiny edge chips and other extremely minor edge marks. No crazing, a very clean and bright tile.

Austwick attributes this back to Minton Hollins however whilst it is seen most often on Doulton tiles it is also noted on Mintons China Works tiles. Doulton were also distibutors for Mintons China Works badging some unmarked Mintons China Works tiles with their stencil. |

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
