A pretty floral design that reaches out in to an aesthetic styled border. Given the colour and manufacturing variations in these it's a little surprising that they were the two central feature tiles from the same fireplace, maybe the original customer selected them for their eccentricity.

Just five tiny chips to the edges and some light staining in the crazing. The decoration doesn't quite meet the edge in places and the glaze has blow holes.

Just one small chip on the bottom and a small rust stain near the right edge, some very light discolouration in the crazing. The decoration doesn't quite meet the edge in places and the glaze has a few blow holes. A very clean and bright tile.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Surface marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
