A somewhat 'arts and crafts movement style' design with lolloping leaves and stylised flowerhead motif in shades of brown and a blue 'sun'. Going by the pattern number this is a very late design, we have had pattern numbers as low as R786 suggesting somewhere around three thousand patent impressed designs were produced.

Condition: Good

Price: £40 (approx $70)

Ref: 02248

There's a light/medium scratch from near the bottom corner that reaches to within an inch of the top edge, There's about three or four very small/tiny edge chips and similar short strips of roughness the one on the top edge being stained. Some other light surface marks and the surface is a little dull apparently having been cleaned regularly for many years.

The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light. For more details of how we describe marks see Condition.
