A nice little art nouveau tile with a bold
flowerhead in two blues and curving green
leaves.
Made in England verso suggests possibly a
little later than many, 1920s, however it is
found on 19thC tiles in particular by the
Campbell owned Mintons China Works and so this
tile could be anywhere from c1905 - c1930.
Few decorative glazed tiles from Campbell are
found, they mostly did floor tiles.
Verso has grains of mortar remaining,
Campbell compass points badge partly obscured by
mortar residue.
