A nice bright aesthetic floral design with a bold pink a yellow flower surrounded by aesthetic style borders and corner patterns. All overglaze decoration which being lower fired and unprotected by the glaze was liable to wear and chipping etc but this has very few marks. Overglaze decoration enabled a wider range of brighter colours, this example is very precisely painted.

Verso very clean, Boote style rings, design registrant most likely a decorator buying in glazed tiles from Boote to decorate.

Some tiny chips to the edges although the most obvious chips to the right corners are manufacturing flaws. A little wear and chipping to the enamel decoration in places but very little all things considered. Nice and clean and very bright.

The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
