November has about a dozen rim chips/glaze
losses, one tiny the rest very tiny or minute.
Surface is very near perfect with just a few
extremely light marks. Style/technique: Pictorial print So rare I am not even sure what to call it as
it certainly was not made for fixing as tiles
usually are. It has a picture on either side,
November the second least often found month
after April and December the most often found. I
have seen maybe two or three month tiles
decorated both sides but those previously have
had the same month both sides, perhaps made with
the idea in mind of fitting in to screens this
has been used as a pot stand but is not at all
badly marked from its usage. An opportunity to get a less common month and
a real rarity and conversation piece, astound
your fellow collectors! To add further to the
appeal it is in an excellent shade of flow
blue. The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430
pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format and on
screen is about the size as it would be in real
life at the same distance. A larger 120 dpi image
also in maximum quality JPEG format can be
forwarded by email if required. The image is a little oversize rather than
cropped close to the edges so that the edges can
easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly
spotted. Other marks described are usually not
visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as
one normally sees it and can only be seen with a
critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch
imperfections in reflected light. For more details
of how we describe marks see Condition.
