A wonderful art nouveau design with a big bold flowerhead and in a super range of bright colours.Seven colours is rare and this is a nice selection of natural colours with great touches of burgundy in the flower to give it that extra lift. Well moulded and with a nicely detailed but subtle background moulding but perhaps the most outstanding feature of this group of tiles is the surface condition. Literally flawless they almost look like they are new apart from the usual crazing which is completely free of any discolouration, it is so great to see surface condition with such brilliance and nothing to detract even minutely from the enjoyment of the design and colours. Really a pleasure to behold and gives a greater sense of what originally antique tiles really looked like when they were new, it is difficult to describe but is so appealling.

One tiny chip upper left edge, one very tiny chip bottom edge near right, only very, very minor manufacturing imperfections. Outstandingly clean and outstanding brilliance in the glazes.
