One of the small range of jewelled designs from the middle of the Edwardian era often as in this example with a fusion of the two most popular design themes of the time, art nouveau and neo-classical.

Glaze wear to the oval jewel on the right otherwise the surface is excellent, a tiny chip and touch of stain from the iron fireplace near the bottom right corner, a touch of stain near top left corner. A few very tiny/minute edge chips although the edges are slightly irregular in manufacture anyway.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
