This is a joy to behold, these natural colours
glazes really seem to capture brilliance. Minute
chips or touches of wear to the very tips of the
corners only. Style: Art
Nouveau A super art nouveau tile embossed and
indented in low relief and with rich glazes. All
natural colours with a super deep green
background, olive green and pale green on the
flower and the buds and brown stems. A classic
layout, other companies made similar designs.
Most brilliantly glazed and an excellent tile
from Boote. Versos very clean, England embossed, no
identifiable marks but both pattern and verso
are well known. Very tiny chip bottom edge near left, surface is
near perfect, two tiny breaks in the outline the
only manufacturing flaws. Very tiny chip lower right, some bloom to the
green glaze lower left quadrant presumed due to
atmospheric conditions and is not uncommon with
dark green glazes. Only slight and not seen when
viewed directly overall the glazes have superb
brilliance. Spot of kiln dirty right leaf the only
manufacturing flaw. Very tiny chip top left corner, very slight
surface marks..
