A pretty arrangement of arum lilies and fronds in good colours, glazed with a pale green majolica glaze and within a key pattern border.

The Decorative Art Tile Co had astounding success with their first lily design (see links below) and produced at least two others this being the latest. Considerably less often found than their first this is rare being also glazed with a coloured glaze.

Verso Boote ring pattern with very faint pattern number and registration number however they are also on the edge of the tile and much clearer.

Clear chips to the edges although the bottom left corner and most of the top right corner are manufacturing flaws. Light surface marks and slight discolouration in the crazing but very colourful and bright.

The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Surface marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light. For more details of how we describe marks see Condition.
