A very bold floral design with flowerhead of
generous dimensions and strong leaves nicely
printed and painted in three colours. The design
fills the tile nicely and is well proportioned
for its intended use.
This is a borderless design for the
decorative market such as fireplaces and
washstands where any border would be partly
covered by the frame and may look incomplete.
Possibly a design that Pilkington adapted for
one of their high outline majolica designs.

generic bars, fairly clean, pattern number
written in stain - indistinct on this but clear
on another we have.
