A great design of blooming carnations in a quatrefoil cartouche with stylised floral motifs toward the corners and a pretty floral border. Printed in dark brown and coloured with five bright handpainted colours.

Verso part glazed and part soot stained, very barely visible even with assistance is the printed pattern number and design registration number.
