Condition Report

Five tiny edge/corner chips, some surface marks near the side edges and bottom left corner but the main surface of the tile is perfect, very clean and bright.

 

A floral design of flowing nature likely originating in the period just prior to art nouveau in five natural colours. This design mostly seen by Corn/Richards who made two versions of it, this by an unattributed manufacturer whose tiles we see from time to time.

Verso a little smoke stained, 'B's in opposing corners.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
