Condition Report
One very tiny corner chip, hairline since it was
made from the right edge, touches of rubbing to
some high points. Very clean and brilliantly
glazed.
|
An excellent design that fills the tile with
movement, nice olivy green background , almost
lime green leaves and blue-green flowers.
Verso very clean with distinctive malkin
moulding.

The origin of the hairline is the chip here seen
mid left edge. It can be seen that the glaze ran
over the edges of the tile in a few places and
stuck the tile to the kiln furniture, the hairline
was caused when removing the tile. It has been
there the life of the tile, around one hundred
years, and is of no great concern.
