Light wear around the upper corners, a couple of
very tiny chips, very light surface marks.

A strong art nouveau design from Mintons with
a centrally placed cluster of tulip-like flowers
engulfed in foliage that reach oh so close to
the edges A secessionist genre design from the
period when Léon Solon's influence was
perhaps at its greatest within the company, from
the pattern number the date of introduction
being very late 1903 or early 1904. Bold with a
good red the colours being juxtaposed such that
the flowers are green and the leaves red.
Verso very clean but worn and clay loss from
portland cement removal, usual Mintons China
Works bars, name, England and pattern number
embossed.
