A fabulous art nouveau design with a hint of
renaissance style decorated in super colours
including celeste and purple. A most unusual
moulding technique as there is no relief to the
tile other than the outline, I am almost tempted
to use the much misused phrase "imitation
tubelined" but the line is deliberately very
slender and so is of proportions not possible
with tube lining. A design not seen before and
indeed could well be a very limited edition the
mould made simply from incising the outline in a
plain plaster block.
Verso unmarked, plain except for two undercut
lock channels.
Near perfect condition, just a couple of very
tiny marks.
