A little roughness/minute chipping near the right of bottom edge, some extremely slight roughness to edge tip upper left otherwise perfect.

This series of animal groups by W P Simpson come along quite infrequently and I have never seen the full series and am not even sure how many there are for it seem that I have seen more than the usual twelve. This a most interesting scene, a group of horses resting and a donkey reclining outside what appear to be the beer tent at a county or state fair, a most interesting observation on the life of man and his steeds.

Verso is very clean but has a little plaster residue remaining in the recesses of the grip pattern grid.

 

The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format and on screen is about the size as it would be in real life at the same distance. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required.

The image is a little oversize rather than cropped close to the edges so that the edges can easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly spotted. Other marks described are usually not visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as one normally sees it and can only be seen with a critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch imperfections in reflected light.
