An excellent slip trailed tile in wonderful
colours including two pinks and mauve, a super
characteristic design so indicative of the
genre.
Slip trailed is a much misunderstood
technique and is quite rarely found on period
tiles. Most seen can be attributed to Barratt
who did few (perhaps none?) tube line tiles,
another slip trail tile maker of the period was
Sherwin & Cotton.
Verso some rust stain embossed England.
