Condition: Very fine 15 no. 3" mould (top) 23 no. 2" moulding (on top of skirting) 19 no. 1" plain border We have available a little over two running
yards (double the panel as shown in the
catalogue image above plus a few spares) of this
dado pattern with the full height flowers the
total height being four feet one inch as shown.
This represents an excellent and rare
opportunity to purchase a large group of
dramatic tiles and of suitable dimensions for
sides of an entranceway, back panel behind a bar
or counter, counter font, tiling to dado height
with plains above in a large corner shower
etc. See item
03507 for a close up of the top flower
panels. Image is from the original catalogue,
the catalogue page can be found reproduced in
Chris Blanchett's book 20thC Decorative British
Tiles. In fabulous condition with almost unmarked
surfaces and few chips none of which are of any
importance in an installation. They were
protected by layers of paint from many decades
ago that has all been cleaned off, what little
cleaning remains is best done during and after
fixing. Obviously the tiles are suited for a wide
variety of alternative arrangements and so we
will consider splitting the group. Collection is advised due to the weight.
Packed weight will be around 60Kg, easy in a car
(less than the weight of an average person) but
expensive for shipping. As a guide worldwide
shipping would be around £350 including
packaging, UK around £200 including
packaging. Courier collection would be
acceptable but a packaging charge of £100
would be made, there's about 300 tiles that each
have to be individually wrapped.
