A super pair of art nouveau panels in most outrageous colours, vivid pink and blue. Maybe girlie colours, in the edwardian era they probably called them very gay, so totally vivacious it is difficult to think that they could be fitted in to a fireplace even at the height of exuberance in the early 1900s but they were. There's a few relatively minor marks, not so noticable because the colours are irrestistable. Many of the marks would be hidden on fitting in to a cast iron fireplace or frame but they are just as well suited for standalone display or part of an installation. Liven up that Aga! Both bottom tiles have a small patch of surface wear in a lower curve of the stem, four small edge chips and a handful of tiny edge chips and some roughness. The yellow bobbles to the middle of the flowers are quite high relief and a few are worn, other very minor surface marks and light discolouration in the crazing. Click on each panel for a full size picture.
