Condition: Good Price: £180 (approx $315) Ref: F0003 One of the main tiles has a corner chip that may not be completely covered by the iron frame. There is noticable but not excessive staining in the crazing. Colour variations are typical. The 6" x 6" tiles did not come from the same fireplace as the 6" x 3" tiles but all are of similar date and the arrangement is typical for the date. |

The top image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430 pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format. A larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG format can be forwarded by email if required. The picture of the full set is a digital photograph taken in daylight. All tiles have some damage/marks when viewed in hand, when fitted and viewed from a few feet away as usual for fireplaces marks will barely be visible indeed some people consider that they add to the period 'feel'. Prior to installation it is recommended that tiles be arranged in the preferred order and labels attached so that the fitter will install them to the best effect. As tiles are the brightest parts of tiled iron fireplaces fitting original tiles in reproduction ironwork tend to give the impression that the entire fireplace is original. |
